SEVENSTAX Ethernet
SEVENSTAX Ethernet protocols enhance the SEVENSTAX TCP/IP stack to use Ethernet LANs for data transfer. Just as all SEVENSTAX products the protocols are widely adaptable to the target system

Characteristics
  • ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) to translate IP addresses into the MAC addresses used in the Ethernet
  • DHCP - (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and
BOOTP - (Bootstrap Protocol) Clients for centralized configuration of embedded systems
  • seamless integration into SEVENSTAXTCP
  • exchangeable chip drivers through hardware abstraction layer
  • miscellaneous low level driver available for example for CS8900 and LAN91C96 Ethernet controllers
